christmas in the snow

Snow falls, and church bells ring, the choirs sing with their breath puffing in the bitter wind.

It’s the Christmas play, and the children sing

Parents come to enjoy the creativity and cheer

It’s Christmas Eve, and there’s nothing better than to spend Christmas in the snow, chestnuts roasted and mallows toasted.

People are smiling, and the Christmas lights are shining, the tree sparkles and the snow settles along the branches - for it is the eve of Christmas! All are smiling.

Children play, tea and coffee is made,

Fair rides ride and deer graze the hay

There’s nothing like Christmas in the snow.

Hearts are blooming with love; families laugh and play in the snow. For there are the lonely ones on Christmas, the less fortunate ones - what happened to the charitable Christmas lunch?

There won’t be a Christmas for some; there are the forgotten ones, the homeless and the elderly living on their own.

Everybody deserves a Christmas in a warm home. And no one deserves to spend it alone.

Let me gift you with my love, I am thinking of you and this Christmas I shall make a toast to you all.
