a reindeer christmas by george garrison

It’s Christmas again,

That time of the year when the reindeer help to deliver presents

Racing through the starry sky practising for the big night

Chuckling and prancing,

Rudolph leads his friends to landing

Un-fastened from the sleigh,

Walking gently towards fresh hay situated in their red and golden bays;

Decorated with tinsel and baubles,

In a large barn, they graze

Chuffing and chuckling still,

Conversing between one another about the big man in red,

Each of them lay to rest

Rudolph lays pondering,

He smiles at the thought of Christmas -

His reindeer Christmas, one of routine but each year is oh so unique
